About This Course
The Diploma in Health and Social Care equips students with the knowledge and skills to promote quality health and social care within communities. Graduates are trained to implement health and social wellness programmes that support community wellbeing while applying critical interpersonal skills such as empathy, compassion, and cultural awareness when delivering care. The programme also prepares students to identify serious health concerns and appropriately direct or refer clients to qualified medical practitioners for further management. In addition, students develop strong communication and teamwork skills that enable them to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, accessible, and comprehensive health and social care services for all members of the community.
