Nineteen Years Later, and Our Purpose of Changing Lives Is Still as Clear as Day One!
We recently celebrated our ISO 9001:2015 recertification by the Botswana Bureau of Standards - BOBS, alongside 19 years of changing lives through quality healthcare education and training.
We were honoured to host the Honourable Minister of Higher Education, Hon. Prince Maele, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training from South Africa, Hon. Dr. Mimmy Gondwe, BOBS, Acting Director of Commercial Enterprise, Mr. Tebogo Kajane, partners, stakeholders, staff, students, alumni, and members of the wider Boitekanelo community as we celebrated this important milestone together.
Speaking during the ceremony, Hon. Prince Maele described the recertification as “a seal of approval” and “a badge of trust,” reminding us that quality is something that must be defended every single day.
Representing BOBS, Acting Director of Commercial Enterprise, Mr. Tebogo Kajane, commended the College for consistently embedding quality management systems across our work and nurturing a culture of continuous improvement.
Our Provost, Dr. Tiro Mampane, reflected on the journey of the institution and the vision that continues to drive it forward.
At the centre of it all, he reminded us that our purpose remains unchanged: to change lives through quality healthcare education, to strengthen systems, and to improve health outcomes for the people we serve.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has walked this journey with us over the past 19 years. To our staff, students, alumni, partners, and the wider community, thank you for being part of the Boitekanelo College story.
It was a celebration of how far we have come, but also a reminder that the journey continues.
