In a joint initiative to improve access to higher education, Boitekanelo College’s Student Services and Marketing departments recently undertook a cross-country tour aimed at assisting prospective students with the Department of Tertiary Education Financing (DTEF) sponsorship application process, as well as guiding them through new program applications.

The outreach campaign, which covered various towns and villages across Botswana, provided students with one-on-one support in understanding application requirements, program options, and the steps needed to secure government sponsorship for tertiary education.

“Our goal was to meet students where they are and provide hands-on assistance to help them take the next step in their academic journey,” said Mr Kgosietsile Recruitment Manager. “We understand that the application process can be overwhelming, and we are here to simplify it.”

Through this initiative, Boitekanelo College continues to reinforce its role as a student-centered institution, dedicated to empowering future healthcare professionals across Botswana.
