Black Lions FC Donates Football Equipment to Boitekanelo College
In a powerful demonstration of community partnership and youth empowerment, Black Lions Football Club generously donated a consignment of football equipment to Boitekanelo College.

The donation handover took place last week Friday at the College, attracting students and staff from various schools, Tlokweng leadership, and sports enthusiasts all united by a shared belief in the power of sport to transform lives. In his welcome remarks, Professor Abel Jacobus Pienaar, Deputy Provost Academic Services, expressed deep appreciation for Black Lions FC’s investment in the youth.

Representing Black Lions FC, General Manager Mr. Harry Koata emphasized the club’s commitment to community empowerment. Delivering the keynote address, Tlokweng Council Chairperson Ontiretse Bogatsu praised the collaboration between the College and the Club, highlighting it as a model for youth empowerment in Botswana.

Closing the event, Kgosi Modumedise reflected on the cultural and social value of such partnerships, commending Black Lions FC for their generosity and calling on other organizations to support youth focused initiatives. Boitekanelo College extends its heartfelt gratitude to Black Lions FC for this impactful contribution.
