Boitekanelo college honored over 700 new alumni and academic excellence
In a jolly ceremony that brought a memorable academic chapter graduation of its Class of 2025, a vibrant cohort of over 500 students hailed for their remarkable resilience and dedication. The event, held under the empowering theme “Beyond the Classroom, Inspiring Change,” was not merely a conferral of qualifications but a launchpad for journeys of service, leadership and lifelong learning.
The atmosphere was electric with pride as graduates, faculty, families, and distinguished guests gathered to honor the culmination of years of unwavering effort and the bright beginnings that lie ahead. The event was graced by Khanyakwezwe Mabuza, Principal Secretary from the Ministry of Health in Eswatini, who reminded graduates of Nelson Mandela’s timeless words: “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” His address inspired the new alumni to become agents of positive change. Top performing students across disciplines were recognized, including Onneile Keakantse, Oteng Letshwenyo, Atlang Ramosweu, Lesego Releseng, Amogelang Maube, Duduetsang Daniel, Mooketsi Ontuetse, and Thabiso Kelekwang.
The college also celebrated the completion of advanced studies by Dr. Gabalape Sejie, Dr. Kagiso Kgakge, Tshepho Freeman, Atang Lerotsi, Annah Botwaki, and Gorata Nkotsi, further affirming Boitekanelo’s commitment to academic excellence. The intellectual contributions of the faculty were also spotlighted, with recent publications from Professors Pienaar, Khondowe, Morwane, Dikano Masopa, Dr. Ramabu, and Dr. Muchindu Hampango, reinforcing Boitekanelo’s commitment to research and knowledge creation.
