This past weekend marked a momentous occasion as Boitekanelo College hosted the graduation ceremony for the first cohort of the Sewelo Mentorship Program a heartfelt celebration of empowerment, transformation and purpose. Founded by the visionary Mrs. Njiramamda Mbewe, the Sewelo Mentorship Program was born out of a deep desire to mold and inspire the next generation of young women. With a name that speaks to brilliance and value, ‘Sewelo’ is more than a mentorship initiative it is a powerful platform that nurtures girls into becoming fierce, bold, and ambitious women, fully prepared to embrace life and its limitless possibilities.

Over the course of the program, these young women were equipped not only with knowledge, but with the confidence and courage to dream fearlessly. Through mentorship, dialogue and they learned to stand tall in their truth and walk boldly toward their destinies. In a significant step forward, the ceremony also witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Boitekanelo College and the Sewelo Mentorship Program. This partnership symbolizes a shared commitment to investing in the future of young women. As Boitekanelo College and the Sewelo Mentorship Program join hands, the impact will echo far beyond the walls of the institution reaching homes, communities, and the nation at large.
